Quena or Kena
The quena is the traditional flute of the Andes.

Carlos Valderrama Herrera
Carlos Valderrama Herrera (1887-1950) was a famous Peruvian musician, composer and pianist, linked to the mainstream music of Nationalism and Impressionism. Born in Trujillo, a city department of La Libertad in northern Peruvian territory.

His flagship master composition, "La Pampa y la Puna" became the unofficial national anthem of Peru and one of the most known and widespread in the world.
