Video description: Peru folk music: Traditional huayno song from Peru performed by Saywa and Cesar Paucar. Cesar is using a Fender classical guitar hooked to a Boss RC-50 Loop Station for the first half, then switches to a Peruvian guitar for the second part. Both guitars are not in standard tuning, but use alternate ones. This piece was made famous as a solo instrumental by Andean guitarist Raul Garcia Zarate.

Cesar Paucar is a classically trained Andean guitarist whose musical interests range from classical to flamenco, from Latin to folk. Cesar has just completed a third solo outing, entitled "De Amanecida" (At Dawn's Door) consisting of Peruvian music with the collaboration of several renowned Peruvian artists' such as Julio Tirado, Saywa, Lourdes Carhuaz, and Rose Guzman. Saywa, Victoria of Ayacucho or Victoria Porras Quintanilla, is a prestigious Peruvian singer and composer of traditional Andean music whose works have contributed to the Peruvian culture through music. Saywa's music has many fans abroad, especially in the United States and Europe.
